Diamond Jubilee Closing Celebrations

Our Jubilee Year celebrations will come to a close on Saturday, 31 July 2021. Although the celebrations were quieter than we expected, the silence has allowed us to experience a prayerful and reflective celebration of the 60 years of our parish.

Over the past year we have experienced the Lord's mercy through our Door of Grace, come together in silent Adoration in our Jubilee Prayerthon, shared in Christ's generosity in our Walking with the Poor project, and commemorated the many shepherds that God has sent our way through the Jubilee Commemorative Gallery. These are just some of the many projects that we have had in our Jubilee celebrations. Through our numerous events, we trust that you have encountered Christ in this Jubilee year.

As our Jubilee draws to a close we invite you to join us in the closing events of our Jubilee.

6.00pm, Sat, 31 July 2021

We will mark the closing of our Jubilee with a Feast Day Mass on Saturday, 31 July 2021 at 6.00pm.

As the Mass will seat 100 pax, all attendees must either by (a) Fully Vaccinated, or (b) hold a valid negative Pre-Event Test from an MOH-approved provider.

In view of the latest government restrictions, the capacity for our Feast Day Mass has been reduced from 170 to 100 pax. Parishioners whose bookings have been cancelled would have received an email from If in doubt, login to your account and check 'myBookings'.

In view of the latest government restrictions, the Jubilee Committee has decided to postpone this event. In its place we will hold a 'Night of Adoration' to close our Jubilee Year.

7.30pm to 11.59pm, Sat, 31 July 2021

in Main Church Hall

As we close our Jubilee celebrations, we thank God for the many blessings that we have received and remember those around the world who are suffering amidst the pandemic. In this night of silent prayer and adoration let us turn to the Lord who has showered his blessings upon our parish for the past 60 years.
